BOOKING: For all regular sessions a 50% non-fundable session retainer is required to book and hold the date for your session and serves as a cancellation fee. The remaining balance is due on your session date.

For wedding packages, a 30% event retainer is due immediately to book and hold the date of your event and also serves as a cancellation fee. Thereafter, the final balance is due 2 weeks before the date of the wedding.

PAYMENT: All retainer fees must be paid immediately and session and other packages (plus taxes) can be paid paypal, cash app, Visa, MasterCard or AMEX.

CANCELLATION/ RESCHEDULING POLICY: If Client needs to cancel a regular portrait photography sessions or small event, the Client forfeits their session retainer and the 50% paid to book the session date will act as a cancellation fee. The fee can be credited towards a future session if the client reschedules the appointment by text, email or phone call 72 hours prior to the date of session and re-booking at an agreeable date and time. Rescheduling after the 72 hours will be subject to a $35 rescheduling fee and is up to the discretion of GMG Photography for availability. In the event of a natural disaster, illness, venue issues or act of God GMG will work with the Client to accommodate another date that is available within 30 days of the original event date. Re-shoots are at the discretion of the photographer and are not given for regretful personal choices such as hair, clothing, etc. In the case of bad weather, we will reschedule if there is availability or move the session indoors. The choice is yours. Sessions booked within 5 days are nonrefundable and cannot be rescheduled without a new booking deposit.

FOR WEDDING PACKAGES A 30% retainer is due immediately to book and hold the date of your event and also serves as a cancellation fee. If for any reason the Client cancels before the wedding date, the Photographer will keep the event retainer fee paid to hold the wedding or event date as a cancellation fee. This includes venue closures, natural disasters, military deployment, illness, death or any act of God. Cancellation must be made in writing, signed by the contracting client. However, if the client requires to change the wedding date, I will do my best to accommodate and no cancellation fee will be charged as long as the new date is available and within twelve months of the original event date. Otherwise, the new date will be subject to current rates if applicable. If I am not available for the new date, the original contract will be canceled and subject to the cancellation policy.

If GMG Photography cannot perform this Contract due to Photographer’s illness or emergency, then the Photographer shall return the retainer fee to the Client but shall have no further liability with respect to the Contract. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or other media malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer. In the event GMG Photography fails to perform for any other reason, GMG Photography shall not be liable for any amount in excess of all monies paid.

LATE POLICY We ask that all clients are on time to ensure you have your full scheduled session time. I reserve the right to cancel an appointment for clients who are more than 15 minutes late. Appointments are often scheduled back to back so I ask that you do not arrive more than 15 minutes early for your appointment. I highly suggest that you do not bring anyone other than the subject to be photographed to your session. Children have a hard time sitting still for long periods of time and extra adults make the studio hard to move around in. Too many people in the studio make it hard for children to focus and for me to get their attention.

PORTRAIT SESSION NO SHOW POLICY Any client that fails to honor their reservation for their session by not showing up, for any reason forfeits their deposit. A rescheduling fee will also be imposed to rebook the client at a later date.
